More about Katie Adler

I love empowering individuals so that they can make balanced, informed career decisions.
Being able to confidently take ownership of your ongoing career management is critical to a successful future and it is my privilege to share my knowledge, ideas and advice with clients and to see them grow and thrive because of it.

My ethos is very much grounded in the principles of Positive Psychology, focusing on a realistic appreciation of the positives in our lives, and that we all have an amazing selection of Strengths gained from life and work experiences. Taking a Strengths-based approach is affirming, optimistic and identifies strategies for changing the dynamics and improving performance (& wellbeing).

Established in 2011, the business has evolved organically to deliver a broad range of Career Coaching and Assessment services to help individuals succeed and perform at their best.
My own experience comes from global telco and professional services, in-house consulting, and one-on-one coaching.  I have worked with Russell Reynolds Associates in Melbourne, and TMP Worldwide & Whitehead Mann in London on senior leadership hiring projects. More recently I spent two years with a leading Australian ASX listed tech company as an in-house consultant, I currently deliver careers programs to diverse students groups at RMIT, and have worked extensively with a range of individual clients over the years seeking career coaching.
I am a tertiary-qualified career practitioner, holding Professional membership of the CDAA – Australia’s leading and national career association, and hold other academic qualifications.  I am accredited in several career assessment tools including the Strengths Profile, Strong Interest Inventory, the Morrisby Online Report (used by many Australian schools), Universal Hierarchy of Motivation and Pario Professional (PRISM) (used in the hiring process).
  • Grad Cert Career Education & Development (RMIT)
  • Grad Cert Business (Monash Business School)
  • BA (Hons) Anthropology/ Sociology (University of Kent at Canterbury (UKC))

On a personal note, I have one husband, two children and three cats. I live in Melbourne and thanks to lockdown, I am now more skilled at using different platforms to connect with clients!
